7 Gill View (named after the Hownsgill Viaduct above) is our current address (that's the Consett Greens) hence the web address. This a collection of more or less all of our photos taken over the last 50 years.

I haven't embarked on this project  because I think anyone would be interested - there's nothing more boring than other people's photos - it's more for family and friends who might find a snap that means something to them, also as I have scanned all the pics for posterity, I thought it a waste not to put them up on the web. I haven't bothered to write descriptions or explanations.

My other half, Trish, died in 2004, but this wasn't my inspiration for doing this - indeed I'd already started scanning the pics a few months before she died and talked it over with her - it did make it more difficult though!

So - nothing Earth-Shattering, just family photos - without commentary, for the most part, but instead of being in the ottoman in the house they're up on the web for anybody to look at.
